While Palm Beach International Academy can be described as a micro-school, our size and our expansive program offerings place us in a different category altogether.
Being deeply rooted in tutor-based education, PBIA firmly believes in the value of individualized instruction. Thus, PBIA limits its group learning class sizes to allow our educators to provide this degree of personalization within a contemporary classroom setting.
What this means is that PBIA’s students are able to receive the socialization and collaborative benefits of learning in a group, and yet still have their individual needs, interests, and learning styles met by their teachers.
The experience of learning in a classroom setting is invaluable for students planning to continue their academic careers into college and beyond.
Similarly, the ability to achieve and advance studies at one’s own pace is an exceptional skills for college-bound students. PBIA’s group learning program provides students with ample opportunity to develop and master this.

What makes PBIA so uniquely versatile as a school, even as a micro-school, is our ability to fully customize each student’s education with a blend of both group and one-on-one learning.
Social interaction is crucial not only to the personal development of young people, but also to their education. Group study enhances learning by allowing students to learn from peers as well as materials and instructors.
Group discussions allow students to gauge their knowledge and pace, and learn to cooperate and collaborate with others in a productive setting. Working in groups is also essential to developing leadership traits and skills.
Our manner of direct instruction is finely attuned to a student’s pace and abilities, providing the best possible outcomes as well as the highest degree of flexibility.
PBIA’s unique approach allows students to combine group and individual instruction to receive the best of both worlds. Students may receive personalized one-on-one instruction in the morning and work with their friends and fellow students in groups in the afternoon.
