We believe in the importance and necessity of community service and encourage students and staff to become involved with and contribute to the world around them.

Our weekly seminar series offers students the chance to learn about leadership, team-building, philanthropy and global citizenship.

Students research and choose projects and organizations that have an important impact and play a vital role at local, national and international scales.

We invite speakers to meet with our students and discuss projects and best practices for outreach and service, so that students may find ways to give back that is meaningful to them.

From helping with food and donation drives, to children and animals, and to the environment and social issues, our students have chosen projects that are far-reaching and personally fulfilling.

We create opportunities for people to get involved; from mentoring and tutoring kids with cancer, to bake sales and book wrappings, our students experience on-the-ground participation.

Some students have gone so far as to create their own 501C-3 foundations, while many others have traveled to projects PBIA supports around the world.

All students are exposed to new ideas and perspectives, helping everyone evolve into empathetic and compassionate individuals who are making the world a better place for everyone.

PBIA: CHANGING THE WORLD.

TESTIMONIAL

“Attending PBIA’s weekly seminars gave me the opportunity to work with local outreach programs. It also allowed me to connect with my peers on a deeper level while performing tasks that benefited the community. PBIA made the seminar a fun and safe environment that I look forward to continuing partaking in the coming years.”
