Progressive Programs

PBIA is proud to offer an array of programs tailored to the specific individual needs of students and their families.

The remarkable versatility offered by PBIA is a direct result of our continuing effort to meet the unique and diverse academic needs of each and every student.

PBIA has developed several programs aimed at meeting the array of student needs that we have encountered over the years, ensuring that we are able to offer virtually every student an exceptional educational experience.

1 on 1 Program

This personalized direct instruction program offers students and their families the ultimate degree of flexibility and customization in programs, classes, and schedules.

Learning sessions may be conducted in person or online, and students are able to schedule classes around busy training/competition or family travel schedules while working at their own pace on their classes and selecting tutors who best suit their individual needs and learning styles.

Fully tailored to the student’s needs, this program offers both remediation and acceleration options year-round to completely optimize the learning experience.

This personalized approach extends to academic pathways as well; students are enrolled in accredited online programs, giving them the option to either earn a high school diploma or build a solid homeschool transcript through accredited courses, ensuring their education is tailored to their unique circumstances and goals.

Portfolio Program

This program is designed for students to build a comprehensive portfolio showcasing their academic and creative work, beneficial for college applications and personal development.

PBIA’s portfolio program is designed in two specific tracks to cater to different students’ needs:

1. Academic and Creative Work Portfolio: Students who follow non-traditional academic paths or have unique interests and career aspirations use this program to focus on building a comprehensive portfolio that includes their rigorous academic achievements and creative works. This portfolio serves as a resume for university applications or potential employers, showcasing their diverse skills and passions.

2. Seasonal Student Portfolio: We ensure students cover their required school material, so upon returning to their regular schools, they present a digital portfolio of all completed work, allowing them to receive credit for their academic efforts during their time away.

Traditional Tutoring Program

Like our one-on-one program, PBIA’s traditional tutoring program focuses on direct, personalized education between student and tutor. However, our tutoring program focuses on supplementing education rather than being the entire solution.

Tutoring occurs either in-person or around the world using live online formats.

Tutors are available weekdays and weekends and can be arranged for just a few as-needed sessions or on a regularly scheduled basis. We also coordinate with guidance counselors, advisors, trainers, coaches, therapists and other professionals to allow students to stay current with their assignments while in whatever circumstances they find themselves.

Whatever subject a student may need help with from our K-12 courses and programs, as well as college level classes, PBIA tutors are ready and waiting to jump in on a moment’s notice.

Seasonal Program

Our seasonal program was designed for student equestrian athletes to enable them to compete in seasonal events without sacrificing their academics, and now attracts busy students and families from all over the world. The program will benefit any student whose personal schedule requirements make it difficult, if not impossible, for them to attend school without being left behind.

Students have the option to engage in one-on-one sessions with tutors or participate in group classes with other classmates to accomplish their assignments. Participating in our seasonal program not only provides students academic advantages, but also provides them with valuable social interactions.

Additionally, for those instances where students may not have brought specific schoolwork, we offer curated curricula based on individual assessments.

Summer Program

Learning doesn’t ever have to take time off, and this is evident in PBIA’s summer program offerings, where we offer comprehensive programs that include both camps, school, and tutoring services.

Our camps integrate academic learning with enjoyable activities, with each two-week session centered around a unique theme. Students engage in a diverse range of activities encompassing art, math, science experiments, technology, and outdoor play, all aligned with the chosen topic.

Additionally, our summer school and tutoring is designed to assist students in challenging subjects, providing support for areas where they may be struggling, or allowing them to proactively advance and complete summer courses.

The summer is also an excellent time for students to improve their college admissions prospects  by retaking classes or adding higher-level courses to boost their transcripts.
